  • Thematic Partnerships | P2gether

Thematic Partnerships Thematic Partnerships Thematic Partnerships create a platform for interactions based on affinities or mutual interests rather than relying on geographies. These global partnerships develop collaborative opportunities among organizations and young Jewish leaders who share a common interest. The Thematic Partnerships platform was invented and implemented by the Jewish Agency in collaboration with relevant organizations and funders. Jews from Israel and around the world are creating deep bonds based on their personal connections, fields of content, and shared values while embracing the diversity of the Jewish people. The relationships built through this platform are creating a stronger bond among the Jewish people and Israel. Global Jewish LGBTQ Partnership The partnership2Gether Network is honored to welcome leaders of Jewish LGBTQ organizations from around the world to our network, Connecting Jews from around the world is one of The Jewish Agency’s guiding missions. The Global Jewish LGBTQ partnership provides common learning, pooling of resources, and opportunities for collaborative efforts based on shared values and goals of Jewish activists from the LGBTQ community. Above all, it invites a global conversation among Jews of different backgrounds. Together we focus on the following main topics: Developing relationships, sharing knowledge and networking between Jewish LGBTQ communities worldwide. Creating an inclusive space for LGBTQ people in Jewish communities by identifying shared obstacles and opportunities. Promoting the visibility and familiarity of LGBTQ voices among Jewish communities through collaborative efforts. 19 Jewish LGBTQ NGO’s 12 countries worldwide 34 articipants 1 Summit 300 attend the global virtual gathering Global: The World Congress of GLBT Jews Israel: The Agoda: The Association of LGBTQ Equality in Israel IGY - Israel Gay Youth Havruta Religious Gays Tehila Ma'avarim Canada: center of Israel and Jewish Affairs South America: JAG Argentina JAG Ga'av Brazil Guimel Mexico USA: Keshet A wider Bridge Europe: Keshet Deutschland CEJI Hungary Nagen David Keshet Italia Rainbow Jew UK Moed: Global Jewish Identities Partnership Global Jewish Identities Partnership provides an international platform for convening Jews from different ethnic backgrounds around the world. This enabled them to elevate their diverse traditions and backgrounds, support each other and build a more inclusive and welcoming Jewish community for this and future generations. The Moed global partnership serves as a foundation for developing tools to address specific topics and grapple with key diversity questions focusing on racial and ethnic diversity and creating a cadre of allies, both liberal and Orthodox, Israeli, American, British, Canadian, African and South East Asian. • Partnership2Gether | Global Network (P2G)

1/5 PARTNERSHIP2GETHER (P2G) GLOBAL NETWORK The P2G Global Network aims to promote, empower, and develop deep connections, thereby strengthening Jewish communities in Israel and worldwide. This is accomplished through creating revitalized, ongoing, and meaningful engagement based on mutual endeavors and shared Jewish identity. Impact The P2G Network connects 165 Jewish communities through 38 city-to-city and region-to-region partnerships within Israel, as well as through global thematic collaborations, engaging thousands of participants each year. Uniqueness Each Partnership is led by a joint steering committee composed of volunteers from both Israel and overseas communities, committed to fostering continuous, mutually beneficial bilateral engagement. This includes developing unique programs and one-on-one encounters and fostering deep personal and community connections. The Global Partnership Network is part of the Connect Unit Dedicated to linking Jews worldwide with each other and with Israel The Jewish Agency serves as a bridge, bringing together the diverse identities, interests, and religious streams within the Jewish community and uniting them through Ahavat Yisrael and the importance of the Jewish State. In a world where Jews can easily become disconnected from each other and from Israel, CONNECT UNIT aims to strengthen a sense of unity and prevent the detachment of Jews from the Jewish people and Israel. This is achieved by empowering Jews to voice their opinions and influence issues that affect the Jewish community. The Partnership2Gether Global Network (P2G) serves as the primary platform to achieve these goals. 165 Jewish communities around the world 38 Partnerships 2 Global Partnerships in about 20 Countries * Mexico 1 Community 1 LGBTQ Organizations * Israel 68 Municipalities 5 LGBTQ Organizations 8 Moed Partnerships * Australia 1 Community * South America 1 Community 2 LGBTQ Organizations * Europe 3 Communities: 4 LGBTQ Organizations 3 Moed Partnerships * North America 87 Communities 2 LGBTQ Organizations 10 Moed Partnerships * South Africa 2 Communities 3 LGBTQ Organizations 2 Moed Partnerships * Cananda 2 Communities 1 LGBTQ Organization 3 Moed Partnerships Partnership Network In Israel See full map An Evolving Relationship 30 Years of partnership through thick and thin in Israel and around the world.
